Message from our CEO

To all our customers,

This is a challenging situation that we find ourselves in, but the more I learn about the efforts to halt COVID-19 from around the world, the more pleased I am that NZ has entered into lock down quickly and proactively.  At Turners we remain determined to do our bit and are adhering to the requirements of the lockdown.

Looking to purchase a car, truck or machinery?

Yesterday (31.3) the MTA came out and stated that dealerships can supply vehicles to essential businesses. Given this, the numerous approaches to buy vehicles or machinery from essential services, and a desire to try and help in any way we can, Turners will start selling to essential services.

If you have a vehicle requirement, please contact us via

-        This is being monitored during work hours and one of the team will quickly be in touch

-        Please let us know of the situation – and which essential service you are

-        This will of course have to be on a case by case basis depending on what is involved and the vehicle or machinery that you want to buy.

-        Rest assured we do have a process to sell vehicles and machinery without any contact at all.

Many of the Turners Cars and Trucks & Machinery team are working from home to manage any questions you may have.

If you are not an essential business we would still like to help you. Starting from today Turners will be taking deposits on vehicles that can be collected at the end of the lockdown. Please browse the website and find your next vehicle as you can easily secure it now online, for delivery when the lock down is over. To do this please email the consultant on the listing of the car that you want, or email us at for more advice and one of the team will be in touch.

Damaged & End of Life Vehicles

The Turners DEOL team are working from home to manage any bookings and questions.

For valuations and for any auction bookings, questions or tow requests please email:

-         North Island

-         South Island

For all tow requests, we will hold the request on file until our branches are back open and then arrange it.

We have also applied to the Government to have our damaged vehicle sites open for deliveries only and will update this page once we hear back.

Once there is a clear signal from the Government that the lock down is coming to a close Turners will start communicating with our customers again with information around how and when we will reopen.

Until then, wishing everyone all the best for the lock down. Please stay safe.
