At Turners we know how important our people are. The benefits below demonstrate that this is not just a standard company line. These are real benefits for our staff – and an indication of the value that Turners sees in them.
These benefits include:
Competitive Remuneration and Annual Review Process
All our full time management and sales staff are paid on salary, plus bonus / incentives. All Administration and Operations staff are paid on an hourly rate. Salary and wages are formally reviewed at least annually, usually at the commencement of the new financial year.
Learning and Development
Turners wants to create an environment where you can continually develop, grow, improve your skills and improve your effectiveness. This development may occur through a variety of methods. We recognise that training needs are different for everyone so we endeavour to provide a variety of options. Training needs will be identified through regular performance meetings, discussions with your manager and any skills gap identified through the annual performance reviews.
Southern Cross Health Care

Life (including Terminal Illness) Insurance

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
EAP is part of our Health, Safety and Wellness strategy and helps our employees deal with personal and work issues. It is a totally confidential and professional counselling programme.
We have company subsidised staff social clubs that undertake a wide range of social events throughout the year.
Available to all permanent employees who work a minimum 40 hours per week. You are entitled to a paid day off to celebrate your birthday so long as you have been employed for a minimum of 6 months prior to when your actual birthday falls.
Staff members and their immediate family members will enjoy reduced rates for buying and selling through Turners.
Equal Employment Opportunities
We are an equal opportunity company. This means that all human resource practices such as recruitment, promotion, training, benefits and discipline will be undertaken in such a way that no staff member is disadvantaged by reason of sex, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, employment status, marital status, family status, religious or political belief, political opinion, sexual preference, age or disability.
And finally, a great team of people to work with
Our teams regularly tell us through the feedback we receive how much they enjoy working here and with the great people they have around them. We are very selective about the people that we hire, because we are fiercely protective of the team culture that we have developed.
