Greg Hedgepeth
CEO - Turners Group NZ Ltd

Greg joined Turners Group as Chief Executive Officer in July 2017, after successfully completing senior roles at some of New Zealand’s leading automotive wholesale and retail organisations. With a passion for cars, he brings a wide range of experience in Sales, Marketing, Finance, Sales Channel Development and Customer Relationship Management.  With over 20 years’ experience in agency and corporate environments and roles in New Zealand, UK and USA, he has worked across a number of industry categories.  These include not only Automotive, but also Media, FMCG, Travel, and Financial Services.  Greg holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Auckland University.

Aaron Saunders
CFO - Turners Automotive Group Ltd

Aaron joined Turners Group NZ in 2006. He has a strong background in financial and management accounting, at both a strategic and operating level in local and international markets. Over the last 20 years, Aaron has worked across a broad range of company sizes and industries including vehicle importation and distribution, broadcasting and the finance sector. Aaron is a full member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants

Dean Brindle
General Manager - Trucks & Machinery - Turners Group NZ Ltd
Dean joined Turners in October 2009 as the Manager for our Hamilton branch. During his time here he has moved through to a Regional Managers role and was appointed to the General Manager role in February 2015. In January 2017 Dean was appointed General Manager of our Trucks & Machinery business.  Dean has come from a transport background where he worked in management roles for LCL Transport and TR Group Ltd. Dean has a keen interest in cars and speedway, he is a former NZ Champion and is currently ranked as one of New Zealand’s top Sprintcar drivers.
Dion Jones
Group General Manager - Finance - Turners Automotive Group Limited

Dion joined the company in March 2013 as the Head of Turners Finance. After a sustained period of profitable growth Dion was appointed to the role of Group GM – Finance in February 2017. He now has oversight of all Finance Companies within the Turners Automotive Group Limited, including Dorchester, Oxford, Southern Finance and the Turners direct brand. Dion has a strong business acumen and proven track record gained through a diverse background in finance and insurance industry. Prior to joining Turners he held senior sales and management positions within APM, Sovereign and ASB Bank.

Jonathan Sergel
Chief Operating Officer - Cars - Turners Group NZ Ltd


Jonathan joined Turners in January 2009 as a National Account Manager. Prior to being appointed Acting COO, Jonathan held a number of senior roles within the Cars division most recently as the GM for Supply and Sales. As COO Jonathan has full responsibility for supply, sales and operations of the Cars division of Turners Group NZ. Jonathan has been in the automotive industry for over 20 years and during that time has held positions in sales, marketing and business development within a wide range of the automotive field. This has included time at retail dealerships, rental car companies and before heading to Turners, within vehicle leasing and finance.

Mark Bowers
General Manager – Cars, Northern - Turners Group NZ Ltd

Mark joined Turners in February 2014 as our Auckland Branch Manager. He then moved through to a Regional Manager role prior to his appointment to General Manager - Cars, Northern in March 2017. Prior to joining Turners Mark held senior management roles within Avis Budget Group in the UK and NZ. Mark has a passion for travel and has lived extensively throughout Asia and Africa but is very happy to now call New Zealand home. 

Scott Greenhalgh
General Manager – Cars, Southern - Turners Group NZ Ltd

Scott has over 27 years’ experience in the Motor Vehicle Industry. His background covers time in New Vehicle Franchises of Toyota, Subaru and Citroen also in used vehicles, both Kiwi New and Import. Roles in these businesses have covered Sales, Workshop Management and Sales Management.  Scott has worked for Turners for close to 15 years with responsibilities encompassing areas of Buying, Sales Management, Branch Management and now General Management of the Southern Region for Cars.

Shane Prince
General Manager - Damaged & End of Life Vehicles and Commercial & Industrial - Turners Group NZ Ltd
Shane Prince has been involved in the automotive industry for over 33 years. He has a wide range of automotive experience ranging from retailing, panel beating, sales and marketing to automotive mechanics. He is also involved with the New Zealand Fire Service where he holds a senior position and is a trustee on the Birkenhead Licencing Trust. Shane joined Turners in 1994 and has held several roles within the company, including those of Sales Consultant and Branch Manager. Shane Prince
Simon Gould-Thorpe
Group Chief Information Officer - Turners Automotive Group Limited
Simon Gould-Thorpe joined Turners in September 2010. Simon is no stranger to business transformation with over 30 years in information services and experience in a wide range of markets and industries. Prior to joining Turners he spent 10 years as CIO of Honda New Zealand and also held leadership roles at both Tegel Foods and NZI Life. Simon is passionate about Business Transformation with a proven track record of success with all  these companies. IDG’s CIO100 has ranked Simon within New Zealand’s 2017 top 100 most innovative ICT leaders.
Sonya Rose
Group General Manager - Human Resources - Turners Automotive Group Limited

Sonya joined Turners in August 2012. She is tertiary qualified with over 12 years’ experience in all aspects of human resources. Sonya has particularly strong knowledge of employment relations, change management and employee engagement. She has worked across a range of industries and organisations including central and local government and private enterprise. Since joining Turners she has implemented several learning and development initiatives and continues to focus on making Turners an even better place to work.
