Does it matter what kind of vehicle it is?
No. Exotic, late model, elderly, family and collectors cars, we auction the lot. There are even auctions for trucks and vans and special auctions for damaged and immobile vehicles.
How do I know I'll get the right price?
When you bring your car in, we give it a free appraisal and agree on a reserve price, which is the minimum you are prepared to sell the car for. And as New Zealand's leading used vehicle sellers, we have extensive knowledge on current market values. So you can be sure that your car will go to auction at a price that reflects its true worth.
Should I do anything special to my vehicle?
Yes. Make sure it's looking its absolute best. Years of experience show us that well presented cars that have been cleaned, polished and vacuumed thoroughly are more likely to achieve their potential market worth when sold. Turners professional grooming service is a hassle free way to get your car looking its best. Ask a Turners consultant for more information. A mechanical appraisal is another great way to boost buyer confidence in your vehicle. For a very reasonable fee, you can have all the facts about your car right there in the window - all the reassurance buyers need to bid `top dollar'!
Who are Turners main customers?
Thousands of people just like you every year! The types of people, companies and institutions who use Turners are as diverse as the vehicles they buy and sell - private vendors, small businesses, corporations, local bodies and government departments.
OK, I've decided to sell the Turners way. What do I do?
Just bring your car to the nearest Turners Auction Centre. One of our consultants will help you set a reserve price, then you're off, we do the rest!
Once your vehicle is booked in, you can either leave it or bring it back a few hours before auction. The longer you leave the car before auction, the more time potential buyers have to look it over. If you have the cars registration papers bring them with you. Otherwise, if they are held by a finance company, simply advise your Turners consultant. We will contact the company on your behalf.
To avoid disappointment, please book your vehicle in at least 24 hours before your preferred auction.
How do I get approved as a Dealer Client?
When you initially register you can opt to be registered as a dealer. Once approved you can access trade only sales and enjoy the many benefits of being a trade approved client.
You will be contacted by Turners Credit department within 24 hours to verify your dealer details and set up your dealer account.
In the meantime you can register as a non dealer which will allow you access to all public auctions.
If you require access to trade areas sooner please contact the credit department directly on (09) 580 9376.
Who do Turners work for, the buyer or the seller?
Both! The Turners way gives buyers a huge choice of cars in one place and sellers a huge number of potential buyers in one place. We honestly believe everyone wins at Turners.
